Medical Guess What #2

Round 2 of ‘Medical Guess What’. Can you figure out what this device is used for?

 This is a pulse oximeter. It measures pulse rate and the amount of oxygen in the blood. It is used in situations where patients present with shortness of breath such  asthma and also during general anaesthetics or intensive care. There are small portable versions for use in general practices. The one in the picture attaches to ‘the machine that goes beep’ (anaesthetic machine).
