Healthy Mind Platter

Neuropsychiatrist Dan Siegel has developed an excellent model to help easily understand the different components required for a healthy mind called the Healthy Mind Platter.
There are seven integral components including; getting enough sleep, physical activity, focus or productive time, active play-time, inactive downtime, social connection and time reflecting internally (eg mindfulness).
No matter what stage of life you find yourself in; high school, a busy parent of young children, working life or retirement, it is hoped that keeping these factors in balance will help you achieve a sense of well-being, meaning, happiness and connection in life.
